 Not for people whose digestion problems are triggered by dairy January 5, 2009
I reviewed the ingredients carefully, and even though this is supposed to be a digestion-promoting product, it contains nonfat dry milk! Argh... that just ruled out millions of potential customers who would want to buy it for its probiotics, but who can't have dairy, including many (if not most) IBS suffers. I love Kashi products (hence the three stars), but I'm frustrated that they couldn't skip this unnecessary ingredient that is of such sensitivity to their core audience.

Excellent cereal! The cereal has a mixture of textures and flavors. Not only is it very enjoyable to eat but it is also healthy for you!

Since about age 3 or 4, I have suffered with chronic constipation. Dr's back then just told my mother to use reward charts, stuff me full of prunes and raisins, and little more was offered to help...and nothing did. In my late teens, I reached out to my Dr and was offered basically the same advice...increase fiber in my diet and try the newest laxative-like product on the market, to no avail. Finally, in my adult years, I sought out a Gastro Dr hoping to find real help only to try a medicine that helped briefly and then was pulled by the FDA because it caused women to have heart attacks! Yikes! Cut to a month ago when I received a coupon to try Kashi Vive.
Within approx. 24 hrs of trying Kashi Vive my digestive system started to work! This is AMAZING! I would normally go up to 2 weeks (sometimes longer) without a true bowel movement and one bowl of Vive had my digestive track stirring! Kashi Vive is now a part of my daily morning routine. It makes me feel like a "normal" person and without medication. I can't sing enough praise about this cereal!

My whole famliy loves this stuff! The kids eat bowls at a time. My husband who tends to shy away from healthy, eats this and said it tastes great. I try to get cereal that has less sugar per serving, but the other health benefits outweigh the sugar in this case. I love Kashi products, have not met many we do not enjoy.
