Good choice if you like cold (and still soft) peanut butter December 2, 2008

I've been eating this peanut butter for years because it was recommended by a men's health magazine. I used to order it straight from the manufacturer (they sell fruit cakes too), but Amazon's site is easier to navigate and order. The taste is good, although I think my kid's brand tastes more like roasted peanuts. One caveat: there is about a 1/4 inch layer of peanut oil inside each jar, on top of the peanut butter, which you have to stir around with a butter knife or something, until the peanut butter softens up (kinda like we used to have to do in the old days). BUT YOU ONLY HAVE TO STIR THE PEANUT OIL ONE TIME. After that, if you put it in the refridgerator, the peanut butter stays soft. If you like cold (and soft) peanut butter, this is definitely the choice for you. Also, this peanut butter has only one ingredient: peanuts.

I like this peanut butter a lot. I do prefer their chunky one better, though. But this is great at this price too. It is more runny than the chunky one but if you have trouble spreading it then just use a spoon to do do. I certainly can tell the authentic taste of this compared to the usual store brand ones available with all the hydrogenation and definite lack of flavor depth.

Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter is the best healthy peanut butter you can buy. It not only has no hydrogenated oils it also has no salt. Bad peanut butters need salt to mask their bad quality of the nuts...not Crazy Richard's. You can taste the freshness of the nuts. Men's Health Magazine has voted Crazy Richard's one of their "Top 125 Foods for Men" for 3 years in a row now AND the only peanut butter they recommend. I bought the 6 pack and was amazed at the great price for something so healthy. I love the smoothness of the creamy and I love the nuts in the chunky...can't make up my mind. I switched to Crazy Richard's because I didn't want to feed my kids "peanut flavored Crisco!" It's the best!

bought this brand because amazon didn't have the one i like available, what a mistake. this stuff tastes bad, real bad and even when refrigerated, it never solidifies.

Having not the culinary expertise of the the average kid regarding peanut butter(far from it)I found crazy richards (creamy)a speadable ,delicious treat.Served on wasa bread with cut banana or polaner jam (or is it jelly?)it a is cool diversion from the ordinary lunch meat fare and guess what, everything in it is good for you. And the best is it does`t stick to the roof of ones mouth.No sodium,low carb,and easily spread down on bread.
